  1. A warm welcome to our good friend and speaker this morning, Rev. Jon Imbeau, President of Wycliffe Bible Translators of Canada.

 

  1. Please note a change in schedule for our Year-Beginning Membership Meeting. It will now take place on TUES, APR 29, 2025 @7:30PM. This adjustment is due to the church serving as a polling station for the 45th Federal Election on MON, APR 28. This meeting is mandatory for all active church members who are under 70 years old. The Year-Beginning Membership Meeting Agenda will be as follows:
  1. 2024 Ministry reports.
  2. 2024 Audited financial statements.
  3. 2025 Operating budget.
  4. Motion to nominate AY Au-Yeung & Company LLP as 2026 auditor (to audit the 2025 financial statements).
  5. Motion to use a “Special Resolution” (over 2/3 votes) to sell 12855 Clarke Place, Unit 130, at market price.
  6. Motion to use a “Ordinary Resolution” (over 1/2 votes) to purchase 9120 Granville Avenue at the selling price agreed by its owners.
  7. Other church ministries inquiries.

 

  1. Volunteers are needed for ballot counters and a supervisor at the Year-Beginning Membership Meeting.   1. Save the date for our 2025 Summer Retreat! Join us at Cedar Springs Christian Retreat Centre in Sumas, Washington (USA) from FRI, AUG 1 – MON, AUG 4. Registration is now open. Scan the QR code on the poster for details and to register.

 

  1. Get ready for fun! Vacation Bible School (VBS) is coming in 2025, running from MON, AUG 18 – FRI, AUG 22 each day from 9AM – VBS is open to all children who will be entering Kindergarten through Grade 6 in September. Stay tuned for registration dates and more exciting details, which will be announced soon!

 

  1. As the 45th Federal Election is tomorrow, we encourage you to exercise your right to vote and help shape our nation’s future. Let’s also commit to praying for our country, its leaders, and for wisdom and unity in the days ahead.
