What classes can I take? 有什么ESL课程？
You can take ESL classes from Beginner, Intermediate and Advance levels.
有英文基础班，中级班和高级班，总共3个级别
When does new class start? 每一个新季度何时开始？
New classes start in January, April and September.
新季度分别由1月，4月及9月开课
How will my class level be decided? 我的取录程度是怎样决定 ?
We don’t provide trial lesson. You will need to take an Assessment Interview on the Registration Date listed below.

Who are the teachers in the Class? 老师资格？
Teachers are Volunteers who are dedicated to help you learn how to speak and understand English for day-to-day life in Canada. (There are usually 1 and/or 1 co-teacher in a class.)
所有老师是義工，希望帮助你学习日常在加拿大以英文听说对话。每一班通常有一至两位老师。
When do classes meet? 上课时间？
All classes meet every Wednesday, 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon

What are you going to teach? 课程内容？
You will learn English by speaking with your teachers and classmates, understanding Canadian culture, community resources and government services. We improve your English by reading, speaking and learning from the text books, Ventures, Side by Side and the Bible.
学习英语与老师和同学沟通，认识加拿大文化，了解更多社区及政府服务。我们选用 Ventures，Side by Side 及圣经作课本，帮助你的英文听说对话能力。。

How much does each class cost? 收费方式？
Registration Cost $60 to cover Church's expenses. Snacks, coffee, and tea will be served at each break. 每季学费＄60作使用教会地方之开支。每小息皆提供咖啡茶点。 We only accept cash.只接受现金报名。
Is the Registration Fee refundable? 可申请退报名费吗?
- $20 registration fee will be charged for withdrawal of registration. Balance will be refunded to you. 開課前退學者，將扣回 $20手續費，餘數退還。
- $20 registration fee will be charged for withdrawal after attending classes less than four lessons. 開學上课少於四堂課如要退学，将扣回手续费$20
Refund will be paid in cash or cheque (ready in about 7-10 business days and it will be mailed directly to the student.) 退款方式:现金/支票 (需七至十日工作天, 並直接郵寄到退款人所寫的地址。)
Can I bring my children to class? 可否带小孩上课？
No, there is no childcare service. 我们不设托儿服务，孩子不能与你一同上课。

Bylaw Revision 新舊《治會章則》比對
本教會的《治會章則》，2018版本，已按區會每五年需要作出修訂來符合區會的要求。新的版本，2024 年版本（目前只是英語），已於今年年初獲區會通過，下一步驟將會是在十一月的「年終會友大會」中被正式接納方為有效。目前新舊版本的《治會章則》已在教會網頁上供會友比對。如有疑問或諮詢，可以聯絡顧牧師。
Our Church Bylaw, the 2018 version, has been updated according to the 5-year review cycle of the District Office. The new version, 2024 version (currently in English only), is approved by the District Office earlier this year. The next step is to have this new version formally adopted at our November Year-end Membership Meeting to become effective. Both versions are now available on our church website for comparison.
